What shipped on Pip, newest first.

## A cleaner morning read (2026-08-30)

A restructure aimed squarely at the calmer, clearer morning read we're always chasing.

- **Leads with what's most active.** Your briefing now opens with one full card for the holding that has the most going on, then lists everything else that's flagged in a compact, scannable form below — instead of every holding getting its own long card.
- **Sources now show who published them.** A link already told you what it points to; now it names the outlet too, so you can weigh the source, not just the headline.
- **A quick read on how solid the evidence is.** Look for "how solid? ⌄" on a card — tap it to see exactly how many independent sources back what you're reading.

As always: Pip describes what happened and shows you the source. The decision stays yours.

## Ten holdings, and telling Pip why in one tap (2026-08-21)

- **10 holdings, up from 8.** More room to track your full portfolio.
- **Settings, easier to find.** `/settings` now shows up in Telegram's own command menu, and there's a settings button right on your briefing card.
- **Tell Pip why, in one tap.** Adding a holding now asks why you're watching it — five quick options, including "No strong view — just watching" for when that's the honest answer.

As always: Pip describes what happened and shows you the source. The decision stays yours.

## Better at explaining why a holding moved (2026-08-01)

This batch is all about tightening the link between a move and its reason.

- **A wider window for finding the reason.** Pip used to check only the exact day of a move for a matching filing or headline. It now checks a few trading sessions on either side too, so a filing that landed a day early or a day late still gets connected to the move it explains.
- **When your holdings move together, Pip says so.** If two of your holdings move the same way on the same day, your card now names the other one — instead of leaving you to spot the pattern yourself.
- **No more mixed signals on one card.** Fixed a bug where a card could point to a cause in one line and then say "nothing explains this move" a few lines later. It won't say both anymore.

As always: Pip describes what happened and shows you the source. The decision stays yours.

## One predictable rhythm, and licensed data throughout (2026-07-25)

A couple of changes under the hood this stretch, both in service of consistency.

- **One rhythm for everyone.** Every tester now gets a brief each market morning, Monday through Friday — one predictable schedule, nothing to configure.
- **Licensed market data, start to finish.** Price and trend readings now come from a licensed data provider. You won't see a link to an unofficial source on a price or trend line anymore.
- **A display glitch, fixed.** A rare bug that could show a holding's move as broken text instead of a number is gone.

As always: Pip describes what happened and shows you the source. The decision stays yours.

## Clearer briefings, and settings you control (2026-07-17)

A few things got better this week — all in service of a calmer, clearer morning read.

- **News links now say what happened.** Instead of a generic "News" tag, each source link names the development it points to, so you know what you're about to open.
- **Plainer trend wording.** Pip now describes where a stock sits relative to its own recent averages, in plain terms — a factual read of the past, never a call on where it's headed.
- **Change your setup yourself.** You can now add or remove holdings, edit the reason you're watching each one, and switch between a daily or weekly rhythm — all in chat, whenever you like.

As always: Pip describes what happened and shows you the source. The decision stays yours.
